
Dr. Fuentes is a bilingual Clinical Neuropsychologist who received
his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Loma Linda University. In
the course of his education and training, he completed an
APA-accredited internship in Pediatric Neuropsychology through the
University of Southern California’s prestigious University
Center of Excellence Program at Children’s Hospital Los
Angeles, Department of Neurology. Dr. Fuentes also completed a
two-year, APA-accredited post-doctoral fellowship in Clinical
Neuropsychology through the University of California Los Angeles.
Dr. Fuentes currently operates a private practice in the City of
Loma Linda, California, where he specializes in the assessment and
treatment of Neurodevelopmental and Neurobehavioral Disorders. He
frequently serves in a consulting capacity to various school
districts, educational systems, and agencies in order to inform
educational benefit as well as the level of educational support
required for students with varying disabilities. He is the author
of the Adaptive Independence Model (AIM), a neurodevelopmental and
behavioral intervention model for students in special education
with moderate to severe disabilities. Dr. Fuentes is a highly
respected and sought-after public speaker and has been a presenter
in local, national and international conferences.
